Bamboo Recipe Ideas -Bamboo Shoot Veggie Burger

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup bamboo shoots, minced

  • 1 can black beans, drained and mashed

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg, beaten (or flax egg for vegan option)

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • Vegetable oil for frying

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Burger buns and toppings of choice



Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine bamboo shoots, mashed beans, breadcrumbs, egg, soy sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

  2. Form the mixture into patties.

  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry patties until golden on both sides.

  4. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
